The State College Area Golf Booster Club provides the organizational and financial infrastructure that allows the State High Boys’ and Girls’ golf teams to thrive. Our role is to provide steadfast support behind the scenes, ensuring that our coaches and student-athletes have the resources they need to focus on excellence on the course.
The Booster Club collaborates with the coaching staff to manage several key pillars of the program’s logistics and community-building efforts:
The Happy Valley Invitational: We play a lead role in the coordination and operation of this premier tournament. Serving as our primary fundraiser for the year, the Invitational is vital to sustaining the mission of both the Boys’ and Girls’ programs.
Financial & Gear Support: We bridge funding gaps by purchasing official team uniforms and coordinating spirit wear for players and families.
Match Logistics: For home matches, we coordinate food and logistics for both the boys' and girls' teams. For away matches, we provide essential travel support.
Program Traditions: We help organize and facilitate various team events and logistical milestones throughout the season, including the end-of-the-year banquet celebrations.
Communication Support: We assist in disseminating important information to families and the community, helping to keep our golf program connected and informed.
Supplemental Funding: Beyond scheduled needs, we provide funding for various equipment and incidental requirements that arise throughout the season to ensure the teams are always fully equipped.
